The family of Valin Bruce Green of Bogue Village Montego Bay is deeplysaddened to announce his passing on August 24, 2018.
He passed leaving wife:Carol Green; daughters: Ana-Kaye and Alex-Ann Green, father: Fabian Green; siblings: Wilton Green, Bryan Green, Mudada Hamanot, Jesse Amlak, Maxine Green; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
The Thanksgiving service will be held at the Mt. Salem Open Bible Church on Saturday, September 8, 2018 at 10:00am.
Interment to follow at Dovecot of St. James Memorial Park.

My family and I would like to express our condolences and prayers to Carol, Ana-Kay and Alex-Ann. We know God will sustain, comfort and give you His peace that surpasses all understanding during your time of grief. As the scripture says, to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. I know you will all miss Valin but please encourage yourselves in the Lord knowing that Valin is in a better place, resting in the arms of His Lord and Savior out of all pain and suffering. My family and I are standing with you all in prayer and we know that God will pull you through this one. We have lost a good friend but we will not mourn as those who have no hope, because we know we shall see him again in Heaven. Rest in Peace my brother-“You have fought a good fight, You have finished the race, You have kept the faith. Finally, there is laid up for you the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge will give to you on that day” The angels in heaven welcome you home!.

As a former Pastor of the Mount Salem Open Bible Church, I offer my sincere condolences to Carol and her family. I remember Valin as a young man of steadfast faith and energy. While I was there in the early eighties, he served in various positions: Board Member, Deacon, Worship Leader, and Youth Leader. He impacted my life in several ways, especially in the area of being “attuned” to the direction and moving of the Holy Spirit. Rest in Peace, my brother. I salute you … a true soldier of the Cross! I’m sure that you’re now “walking around” in that spacious mansion that the Lord has prepared for you. Walk good!

It’s even so hard to realize that this man of worth of is gone. When there is a true gentleman and man of worth who loves God, that is Mr Valin Green. I can’t remember him speaking to me in patois, ever standards driven, so is his daughters well grown and respectable. God bless your life sir Green and massive strength goes out to your family and friends.

I am so saddened by his passing but I find comfort in the fact that he was a man of God, he will be watching over his family and friends. His memories will forever live on.
