Franklin Valentine Norman (Slim, Painter)

Mr. Franklin Valentine Norman, affectionately called “Slim” and “Painter” to those who knew him, was born on August 27, 1937 in Little London, Westmoreland and transitioned from this life on Valentine’s Day, February 14, 2019 in Montego Bay.

Mr. Norman was raised in Dias, Hanover. He attended Riverside All Age School as a child. As an adult he worked as a mini bus driver and later in life a painter, working for many local residents and businesses. He lived in Paradise Norwood in Montego Bay (Greens) at the time of his passing.

He is predeceased by his parents, Edna Brown and Charles Norman. Leaving to mourn his passing are his life partner Alma Aljoe, his chidren Vincent Norman, Natasha Norman, Tamicka Anderson, Craig Norman, Cordel Norman and Shereen Norman, his brother Fordy Norman, 10 grandchildren, as well as a host of other relatives and friends.

The funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 16, 2019 at St. John’s Methodist Church in Montego Bay. Viewing will be at noon followed by the funeral at 1pm. Interment will follow at Dovecot of St. James Memorial Park.
